LRBC #32 (Feb 2019) Cruise Schedule views

Postby mscroggi » Fri Jan 11, 2019 11:15 pm

I am psyched about the LRBC #32 cruise in Feb 2019!

I created several views of the cruise event / performer schedule for myself, and I thought I would offer it to anyone else that could use it..

My plan is to download the actual webpage to my phone so I can view the data without any internet connection.

The three views of the data are by Artist, by Venue, and by Date. The views are as simple and efficient as I could make them for easy viewing on a small device.

If anyone can use this data, you can access it here - http://master-minds.net/lrbc32/.

I hope others will fine this useful!, it was a pain to create! :-)

See everyone on the ship!

These are nice, so thank you for the grand effort. I like that you've separated out events to check at a glance. Once they're all filled in, it'll be very workable. Many of us happily rely on Wendy Shumer's schedules for years now. Hers also come in multiple sizes and have the so important added value of large print. The Blues Cruise schedules are fantastic cuz they're so compact. Provided daily to your cabin mail box are Holland America's roundup of activities with that day's music. Sometimes I think they're just kinda rubbing it in, as there's no way on earth to see it all.

Have fun,
Mark

Hmm I am confused by this.. Are you indicating some more items are to be added? I took this data off the email sent the other day from Bluescruise.

Yeah my schedules are a simple html webpage that can be zoomed if bigger text is needed.. Or the html file itself can be changed to use a different size font if you wish..
Data density was a priority to be able to view on a phone etc..

I agree they are great.. On the last cruise I was longing for a list by artist.. Sometimes I would need to pick between two artists that had conflicting showtimes.. Knowing when the artists are playing next is useful for making the decision, and you don't have to search a weeks' worth of schedule..

This is my first cruise and we are coming from Australia. This schedule will be most helpful in my planning. Thanks for your consideration.I am an avid festival attendee and like to forward plan to optimise my music experiences. Cheers mate
